Community Guidelines

Last updated April 12, 2026 · These guidelines apply to all ZMetcha users.

ZMetcha exists to help people form genuine connections - whether that's friendship, dating, hookups, or content creation. These guidelines help keep our community safe, respectful, and honest. Violating them may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal.

1. Be Honest

  • Be yourself. Use your real name, age, and recent photos. Don't impersonate someone else.
  • Be transparent about your intent. If you're looking for friends, say so. Soliciting money or paid services from other users will result in a ban.
  • Don't catfish. Heavily filtered, AI-generated, or misleading photos will be flagged during our photo verification process.
  • Respect relationship boundaries. If someone says they're only looking for friends, respect that.

2. Be Respectful

  • No harassment. Do not send threatening, abusive, or repeatedly unwanted messages.
  • No hate speech. Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic is prohibited.
  • Accept "no." If someone isn't interested, move on. Persistence after rejection is harassment.
  • Be kind in feedback. Like/pass feedback is used to improve the platform, not to bully.

3. Keep Everyone Safe

  • No threats or violence. Threats of harm - even "jokes" - are taken seriously and may be reported to law enforcement.
  • No doxxing. Do not share another user's personal information (real name, address, workplace, phone number) without their consent.
  • Report concerning behavior. If someone makes you feel unsafe, use the report function. We review every report.
  • Meet safely. When meeting someone in person for the first time, follow our safety tips below.
  • Off-platform responsibility. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, including any interactions that occur off-platform (in person, by phone, on other apps, etc.). ZMetcha is an online platform only and has no control over or liability for offline interactions.

Safety Tips for Meeting In Person

  • Meet in a public place - a coffee shop, restaurant, or busy park. Never at a private residence for a first meeting.
  • Tell someone your plans - share the person's name, profile, meeting location, and expected return time with a trusted friend or family member.
  • Arrange your own transportation - drive yourself or use a rideshare so you can leave whenever you want.
  • Don't share financial information - never send money, gift cards, crypto, or bank details to someone you haven't met in person.
  • Don't share personal info too quickly - keep your home address, workplace, and daily routine private until you know someone well.
  • Trust your instincts - if something feels off, it probably is. Leave immediately and report the person.
  • Stay sober (or close to it) - keep your judgment clear, especially on first meetings.
  • Video call first - use ZMetcha's video call feature to verify someone is who they say before meeting in person.

4. Content Rules

4a. Profile Photos

  • Must be of you (no group photos as your primary photo).
  • Must be recent and recognizable.
  • No nudity in public-facing profile photos.
  • No photos of minors (even your own children, for their safety).
  • No watermarked, copyrighted, or stock images.

4b. Bios and Text Content

  • No contact information (phone numbers, social media handles, websites) in bios - connect through the app first.
  • No promotional or commercial content.
  • No slurs, hate speech, or content that demeans others.

4c. Intimate / Adult Content

ZMetcha includes designated 18+ features (kink questionnaires, intimate preferences, personal expression). This content is restricted to those features and must follow these rules:

  • All content must be legal.
  • No child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - zero tolerance, immediate ban, reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
  • No non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn").
  • No bestiality or content depicting animals in sexual contexts.
  • No extreme violence depicted in a sexual context.
  • Do not send unsolicited explicit messages or photos. Explicit content should only be shared with clear mutual consent.

5. Health Disclosures

  • Be honest. If you choose to share health information (STD status, allergies), be truthful. Intentionally misleading someone about your health status, particularly regarding STDs, may result in a permanent ban.
  • Be compassionate. Do not shame, mock, or harass anyone based on their health disclosures.
  • Disclosures are not medical advice. Always have direct conversations with partners about health matters.

6. Scams, Fraud, and Manipulation

Dating platforms are targeted by bad actors. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Romance scams: building a fake emotional connection to extract money, gifts, cryptocurrency, or personal information.
  • Catfishing: using fake photos, stolen identities, or fabricated personas to deceive other users.
  • Financial requests: asking users for money, loans, gift cards, or financial assistance.
  • Coercion or manipulation: pressuring someone into sending explicit content, meeting in person against their comfort level, or continuing contact after they've declined.
  • Advance-fee fraud: claiming you need money for travel, emergencies, or medical expenses to meet someone.

If someone you're talking to asks for money or makes you feel pressured, report them immediately. Confirmed scammers are permanently banned and may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Other Prohibited Activities

  • Using the app while under 18.
  • Creating multiple accounts.
  • Using the app for illegal purposes (drug dealing, prostitution, trafficking).
  • Scamming, phishing, or financially exploiting other users.
  • Using bots, scripts, or automated tools.
  • Scraping or collecting user data.
  • Attempting to circumvent bans (creating new accounts after being banned).

8. Enforcement

We take a graduated approach to enforcement:

  • Warning: for first-time minor violations.
  • Temporary suspension: for repeated violations or moderate offenses (1-30 days).
  • Permanent ban: for serious violations (CSAM, threats, fraud, harassment, ban evasion).
  • Law enforcement referral: for illegal activity, CSAM, credible threats of violence.

Some violations result in immediate permanent bans with no warning. These include: CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats of violence, and confirmed fraud.

Nothing in these guidelines creates an obligation for us to monitor or enforce compliance in all cases. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to investigate and take action on any violation at our sole discretion.

9. Reporting

If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it:

  • In-app: use the report button on any profile, message, or content.
  • Email: [email protected]

We review all reports and take action as appropriate. Reports are confidential - the reported user will not know who reported them.

10. Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error, you may appeal by emailing [email protected]with your username and explanation. We will review your appeal within 14 business days.
